Human Resources

Tumas Group employs 1015 full time and 611 part time employees. The group boasts of a highly motivated and skilled work force which is vital in delivering value to its highly esteemed clientele.  Over the years the directors have spared no effort at rewarding loyalty, motivation and teamwork.

Management and staff attend training courses on a regular basis as a form of employer support to reach the Group’s objectives in developing policies that centre around the achievement of excellence. Group employees are regarded for what they are – one of the pillars of the organisation.  Co-operation and a sense of belonging to the group as an extended family are encouraged and viewed as a social obligation.  The employees’ efforts are coordinated by a tightly knit Head Office, from where projects ranging from start up ventures to grand scale endeavors like Portomaso and the Evian Hilton in France are first conceived and followed to fruition.

The Head Office structure of  the Group reflects the diverse nature of its activities.  These include:

  • Finance and  Corporate Affairs – Administration and Human Resources.
  • General Management and Business Development – Operations, Marketing and Sales.
  • Corporate Communications – Media Public Relations and Information Technology.

These functions lend themselves to provide the necessary support and policy statements which are required in any large organisation where in a team spirit each division’s activities are co-ordinated in line with the overall strategic vision.  This being crucial towards the group’s synergy-developing capabilities.
